17 Spots to Get the Best Donuts in Los Angeles

January 10, 2015 by Monserrath Flores

If you’re anything like me, the mere thought of biting into a warm soft centered freshly baked donut will make your mouth salivate and drool like Homer Simpson. I mean, let’s face it, who doesn’t love a good donut?

Donuts can be crafted in seemingly endless combinations whether it’s with ice cream, Nutella, or just your classic sugar glaze. And they’re pretty much everywhere you look in L.A.,  being served up at locations ranging from family owned restaurants to Portuguese bakeries to vegan friendly joints.  The only question is, where would you find the best of the best?

Initially I presented my editor with something like 50 different establishments that I was considering consider for addition to this list (I know, that’s ridiculous). Ultimately, he talked me down to just 17.

Hopefully you can use this list next time you are out in the city with friends, co-workers or family, and share with them some of the delectable donut creations that Los Angeles has to offer. Or maybe you’ll find one of these places to be a permanent part of your morning routine.

And, as always, if you have suggestions for your own favorites, let us know in the comments below.

Enjoy the rundown!
