There’s a Cosplay Expo at a Japanese Garden this Weekend in L.A.

November 16, 2015 by Christina Champlin

Who wants to dress up and take some totally rad pics?

The Japanese Garden in Van Nuys is throwing it’s first ever Cosplay Expo this Saturday, providing an idyllic backdrop for cosplayers to take photos in.

Admission is only $15 and grants Cosplayers access to garden tours, workshops, a costume repair center and even a professional photo shoot as stated on their Eventbrite page, which we suspect is DIY. The picnic area of the garden will be transformed into a gaming and picnic area with food trucks, like Jogasaki Sushi Burrito and Tokyo Doggie Style serving up tasty Japanese inspired food.

The Japanese Garden normally doesn’t allow photoshoots without special approval, so dress in your best and have it immortalized through several photos, or even bring a selfie stick.
