Immerse yourself in dark tales focused on murder, mayhem, femme fatales, hard-boiled detectives and moral ambiguity during Noir City: Hollywood – The 20th Annual Film Noir Festival. This ten-day film festival takes place at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood from April 13-22.
Each program will be introduced by at least one renowned Film Noir expert: Eddie Muller, known as “the Czar of Noir” and host of TCM’s weekly Noir Alley series, or author Alan K. Rode of the Film Noir Foundation.
Enjoy dark classics like The Blue Dahlia, Kiss Me Deadly, and L.A. Confidential, along with lesser-known gems like Jealousy, Armored Car Robbery and The Big Night.
As was typical during the Film Noir era, most of these programs are double bills featuring one high-budget “A” picture paired with a lower-budget “B” movie.
Each double feature is $15 and begins at 7:30 p.m. Check the link below for ticketing and other info.
