ARTISTS IN CONVERSATION: Featuring Ken Gonzales-Day at Skirball Cultural Center

The Skirball Cultural Center is hosting artist Ken Gonzales-Day for a live discussion and talk on November 16.

As part of their Artists in Conversation series, Gonzales-Day will join curator Laura Mart, mural historian Isabel Rojas-Williams and muralists Joseph “Nuke” Montalvo and King Cre8 to discuss the murals of Los Angeles and the psyches behind them. The event will start promptly at 7:30 p.m. and is $10 for admission, however, members and students can attend for free. Click here to reserve your ticket.

The Skirball is also hosting an ongoing exhibit by Gonzales-Day from October 6, 2017 through February 25, 2018. Examining the mural landscape of L.A., the exhibit features his photography from East L.A. to Venice Beach. For more information on the exhibit, visit here.
