Every year in honor of J.S. Bach’s birthday, Bach in the Subways pops up with free musical performances throughout the world.
From March 21 through 25, Bach in the Subways offers numerous free musical presentations throughout Los Angeles, including at Union Station, North Hollywood, and Glendale.
As part of the events, Union Station will host a 10-hour Bach Marathon on March 24 with performances at four different locations in the station from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.. The presentations will include visual art inspired by Bach including a mural by Crash Beltran and a giant birthday card by Evie Garf. Issac Pelayo will begin a live painting performance starting at 2 p.m.
