Descanso Gardens presents Wet & Wonderful: A Celebration of Water on September 23. This daylong symposium centers on ways to create beautiful gardens and save our water supply.

This fun and educational day of programming for all ages will include a musical theatrical-style performance of “H20, Where Did You Go?” and discussions on how to make your garden beautifully climate appropriate. While you’re exploring the various programs, grab a rain barrel (advance purchase recommended) and some mulch.

Event hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are $9 for adults, $6 for seniors, $4 for children, and free for children under 5. Most activities are included with the price of admission – see the full schedule.
