Attention dino-lovers of all ages!

The 2nd annual Dino Fest returns to NHMLA this September 23-24 for a weekend of celebrating the prehistoric giants that one ruled the earth.

Among the highlights for this year’s festival:

  • World-renowned paleontologists from the Museum’s Dinosaur Institute will discuss historic and ongoing fossil discoveries from around the world.
  • Rare specimens from the Museum’s collections
  • Hands-on activities
  • The world’s only Tyrannosaurus rex growth series (located in Dino Hall)

There will also be a special spotlight of the (soon-to-be) official dinosaur of California, Augustynolophus morrisi.

Hours for the festival are 9:30 a.m to 5 p.m. on both days.

Tickets are priced at $12 for adults, $9 for students and seniors, $5 for children 3-12, and free for kids 2 and under.
