Need a relaxing and inspirational afternoon? Stop by the Hammer Museum on Saturday, August 12 for a unique performance by Aaron Taylor Kuffner and I. Nyoman Wenten.

Starting at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., each gameltron performance will last 30 minutes and feature the two artists improvising with their own artwork. Kuffner is an artist and composer who will be composing improvisational sounds pieces. Wenten, an acclaimed dancer and musician, will perform movements based on Balinese dance.

The performances are part of a larger installation, including a five-part kinetic sculpture. The installation is meant to invoke a sense of beauty and the sublime, pushing the conventions of art.

As always, all events at the Hammer Museum are free and open to the public. For more information, visit the site link below.
