Los Angeles Renewable Energy Conversation at The Hammer
February 7 @ 7:30 pmFree
Interested in learning more about L.A.’s clean energy future? Then stop by The Hammer Museum in Westwood on February 7 for a fascinating panel on renewable energy and the city we all love.
A panel featuring local and national experts will analyze L.A.’s bold efforts to shift from fossil fuels to a renewable energy future. This comes on the heels of the Los Angeles City Council tasking the LADWP with determining how the city can achieve a clean energy future.
Panelists include Angelina Galiteva, founder and board president of the Renewables 100 Policy Institute; Richard Wirz, professor at the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science; Nancy Sutley, Chief Sustainability and Economic Development Officer at the LADWP; and David Hochschild, Commissioner at the California Energy Commission.
And don’t forget, while all Hammer Museum programs are free, tickets are still required. Be sure to stop by the Box Office one hour before the event for tickets. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information on the event, visit The Hammer Museum website.
