Ace Hotel in Downtown LA is the setting for Wikipedia Day Los Angeles on February 18. This festive day of presentations and discussions is a celebration of the crowdsourced encyclopedia’s 16th birthday.

The day’s guests include Peter Lunenfeld (Vice-chair of DigitalMediaArts Dept. at UCLA), Juliet Lapidos (Sunday Opinion Editor, LA Times), Jessica Yellin (former Chief CNN White House Correspondent) and more.

The schedule is as follows:

11:15am – “Facts Are Not White Noise: A Presentation” by Peter Lunenfeld

11:45am – “Alternative Facts, Wikipedia, and Post-Truth Panel”: Janna Gallus, Moderator, Assistant Professor, UCLA Anderson Strategy; Juliet Lapidos, Op Ed and Sunday Opinion Editor, LA Times; Jessica Yellin, journalist, former Chief White House Correspondent for CNN

2:30pm – “He Who Writes the History Books Wins” by Rosie Stephenson-Goodnight

3 p.m. – “Art + Feminism” panel discussion with Jacqueline Mabey, Michael Mandiberg, Stacey Allan and others TBA

4 p.m. – Cake
