Here’s a Cheat Sheet of Free Museum Days in L.A. For August (2016)

Posted by

The intent of this “cheat-sheet” is to denote specific free days in August where Los Angeles museums that normally charge an admission waive entry fees (not including parking).

Take special note this month that the normal free days (first Tuesdays) for both Natural History Museum and La Brea Tar Pits museum are NOT in effect for July and August.

Finally, just as a friendly reminder, there are also over two dozen museums in and around Los Angeles that offer free admission ALL the time which are not listed here. For those spots we’ve compiled a handy list of ALL of those free museums (including favorites like The Getty, California Science Center, The Hammer Museum, and more) if you’d like to explore all your freebie options for August.

Enjoy!
