Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills

Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills

Greystone Mansion was built in Beverly Hills in 1927 by oil tycoon Edward L. Doheny. The 18 acre site was purchased by the city in 1965 and formally dedicated as a historic landmark in 1976.

Tucked away in the hills north of Santa Monica Blvd, it boasts excellent views of Los Angeles, as well as a spectacular exterior garden and park which is open to the public for free during regular hours year round. It’s also renowned throughout greater Los Angeles as one of the premier wedding and special event locations, in addition being featured prominently in a number of feature films (you might recognize it as Jeffrey Lebowski’s estate).

Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills

Isobel S. from Yelp raves:

“After having heard about the lovely Greystone Park and Mansion for YEARS from my friend, we finally visited this peaceful and beautiful spot on a perfect spring day. Up on a hill in Beverly Hills (yes, there really ARE hills in Beverly Hills!), it’s tucked away from the touristy and crowded Beverly Hills destinations such as Rodeo Drive and Sunset Blvd. which makes it a calming destination to soothe the soul.”
