The LA Donut Festival, coming this October 3 to the MadAve Graffiti House, will benefit the social services and youth programs at The Salvation Army Glendale Corps. Specifically, proceeds from the Donut Fest will help fund their food pantry program, meals on wheels for seniors, an after-school program for at-risk youth, as well as transitional housing facilities.

Now about the event…

What’s promised is a roughly 3-hour extravaganza of donuts, including offerings from a variety of local and national vendors, plus coffee samplings, a gourmet donut showcase and a live judging panel where they’ll try to determine the best of the best in donuts in L.A. County. Guests will also be able to vote on their own personal favorites to help select a ‘people’s choice’ donut.

A standard admission ticket is currently going for $29, which gets you entry into the fest and includes donut tastings, coffee samplings, a Donut Fest coffee mug, live entertainment (band/DJ), and a gourmet donut show. A VIP ticket is $49 and includes everything listed above plus access to a special VIP area, a free t-shirt, gourmet category tastings, an espresso bar, and a donut burger (!!!) meal.

So far the donut vendor list for the event includes California Donuts, Cafe Dulce, Krispy Kreme, Sidecar, Colorado Donuts, Kettle Glazed, and more (vendor submissions are still being accepted).

Keep in mind parking will be mostly limited to residential streets located around the venue, with roughly 100 parking spots available for reservation for $6 a pop. You can reserve parking during the ticketing process. Here’s the link to buy.

The LA Donut Fest will take place on October 3, 2015 from 11:00am-2:00pm at the MadAve Graffiti House. 310 N Madison Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90004.
