Expect decked-out animal-themed LED lights, lasers, 3D projections, and spectacular new water, light and music displays. Enjoy holiday treats and goodies, all under the stars. Real reindeers will also be on display down at Reindeer Romp Village and Santa (on select dates) will even make a few stops at the beloved zoo during the holiday.

General admission tickets range from $10-$14 but we found discount tickets via Goldstar for $8-$10 (not including fees).

For those of you who want to get real fancy, the LA Zoo will have a Holiday Happy Hour on Thursday, December 10, 2015.

$75 gets you express VIP entry and gourmet hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer, and specialty holiday cocktails in the zoo’s exclusive lounge. Limited tickets are available for this one.

A Family New Year’s Eve package is also available, it includes express admission to L.A. Zoo Lights, a dinner buffet with soft drinks and dessert, a carousel ride, crafts, DJ dance party, and the live broadcast of the Times Square ball drop. Adults (21+) can raise a toast with complimentary champagne and kids with sparkling apple cider. A cash bar will be available during the evening. After the party, families are welcome to explore the L.A. Zoo Lights grounds until closing.

Tickets cost $65 Adult/$40 Child and Members cost: $60 Adult/$35 Child.
