10 L.A. County Museums Will Offer Free Admission This Saturday for Museum Day Live!

September 20, 2017 by Brian Champlin

Another free museum day? Well sure why not!

Museum Day Live!, an annual (and sometimes biannual) event hosted by Smithsonian magazine offers a special day where participating museums across the country offer free admission to any and all guests presenting a free online voucher. The next edition will be this Saturday, September 23, with over 1,200 museums taking part in the event nationwide.

Locally, there will be 10 museums in L.A. County who will be participating. Guests who want to take advantage of the offer simply have to register on the Smithsonian website (free) and they will receive a voucher for participating museums.

Each ticket allows general admission for a ticket holder plus one guest. If you go to Museum Day Live! with more than one guest, your other guests will have to pay full admission (so make sure you get enough vouchers!).
