October 28, 2015 by Brian Champlin

Last week we mentioned that preview tickets were now on sale for the newly renovated Petersen Automotive Museum, but this week we have the full breakdown of when the public will be able to check out the new digs (along with the price breakdown for admission).

Things get started on Saturday, December 6 with a VIP gala / fundraiser event from 4:30pm to 9:30pm.

Tickets for the gala are $1500 (wowzers!).

Next comes Sunday’s exclusive ‘Preview Day‘ featuring food tastings, DJ’d music by KCRW’s Jason Bentley, access to the 25 new galleries, a commemorative gift bag for all attendees plus tons of raffle and giveaways with prizes supplied by Xbox, Beats by Dre, Tesla and more.

Preview Day tickets start at $200.

Finally, on December 7 the Petersen opens to the general public with their regular hours, 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Check the full admission breakdown after the jump.
