FYI…

There’s a new food truck in town called Pico House specializing in healthy grain bowls. Owners Philip Moses and Christopher Chi will be serving short rib, gochujang pork shoulder, Union lamb and pork & chicken meatball grain bowls. Gemma Matsuyama will provide desserts through her new pastry company, Heavy Cream. All three chefs hail from Bestia.

Must hit up place of the week goes to..

Brentwood’s contemporary steakhouse Baltaire who is now serving a Caviar Martini made with Zyr vodka, cucumber and a Petrossian caviar cube. Now that’s luxury my friends.

Finally, just a quick snapshot of the best thing we’ve eaten in the past week…

LAMILL is hosting a pop-up dinner series with Bill Corbett every Thursday and Friday throughout the summer. We had the basil ice cream with roasted strawberries, whipped ricotta and olive oil cake for dessert and it was beautiful in presentation but also well balanced in texture and flavor. A perfect summer dish!
