1. [8 a.m. The 129th annual Rose Parade will take over Pasadena on New Year’s morning. See stunning flower-laden floats representing major cities and towns throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area in person or on television.

7. [2 p.m.] The Do-Over is now The New-Over and they’re collaborating with adidas Originals to kick off 2018 with an open vodka bar from 2-3 p.m. and the big blue VOID x adidas Originals x The Do-Over Sound System to keep guests partying hard.

8. [4:30 p.m.]  CHILL Adventure Park returns to the Queen Mary in Long Beach from December 13 through January 7. Come experience ice bumper cars, ice skating, an Alpine Zip Line and more chill themed activities. Check for discounted tickets before making your purchase. DISCOUNTED 

9. [until 3 p.m.] The Greyhound in Highland Park will continue the celebration on New Year’s Day with a hangover party. 10. [various] Discover the best in foreign-language cinema during the Golden Globe Nominees Series, a week of special screenings from January 1–6 at the Egyptian and Aero Theatres. In addition there will be free panel discussion with the filmmakers, at the Egyptian Theatre on Saturday.
