5. [7:30 p.m.The L.A. Uprising: 25 Years Later is a 3-Day Event Series at The Hammer. Tonight features a screening of Do Not Resist followed by a discussion with Black Lives Matter cofounder Patrisse Cullors.

6. [7:30 p.m.] DRC’s Home Grown @ Bootleg.

7. [7:30 p.m.] The Outfest Emerging Leaders Council host the 3rd Annual Beers & Queers at Angel City Brewery this Thursday. This year’s event features a screening of Postcards From the Edge, in honor of the late Carrie Fisher, who wrote the script. Tickets are $10.

8. [8 p.m.Macbeth in Rhythm at the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles. DISCOUNTED (via Goldstar)
