1. [5 p.m.] The Yamashiro Farmers Market has one of the best views in Los Angeles and each Wednesday evening they host food trucks, farm fresh produce booths, wine, fresh baked goods, flowers and more.

2. [5 p.m.Burrito Project L.A.  VOLUNTEER

3. [6 p.m.Dog Day Afternoon at Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in DTLA. FREE

4. [7 p.m.] The California African American Museum launches its summer season with an after-hours party titled Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop!, featuring four powerful art openings, food trucks and DJ tunes by Jasmine Solano, Francesca Harding, and DJ Cee Brown. FREE

5. [7 p.m.] Enjoy some free Shakespeare this summer when the Independent Shakespeare Co. returns for the 8th year in a row with free/donation-based performances at the Old Zoo in Griffith Park. Measure for Measure will be performed Wednesday through Sunday.

6. [7 p.m.Shakespeare By The Sea returns with free performances for the summer. This Wednesday they’ll be performing Macbeth at Valley Park in Hermosa Beach. While admission is free encourage donations to help support the play. FREE   

7. [7:30 p.m.Los Angeles Times Ideas Exchange with Bill Nye comes to The Theatre at Ace Hotel Downtown for a conversation with LA Times’ Patt Morrison about how the future benefits from the “nerd approach” to thinking, creativity, and problem solving.

8. [8 p.m.J. Cole: 4 Your Eyez Only Tour at The Forum.

9. [9:30 p.m.] Underground Jazz Sessions at The Continental Club. FREE

10. [10 p.m.] Joe Rogan at The Laugh Factory. DISCOUNTED (via Goldstar)
