The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County is one of Southern California’s premier destinations for exploring nature, science, and history all under one roof.
In addition to an ever-changing lineup of temporary exhibitions and special events, permanent exhibits at the Natural History Museum include the Dinosaur Hall, Butterfly Pavilion, and a featured exhibit on the history of Los Angeles itself.
The museum is open 9:30am to 5:00pm every day of the year with only four exceptions:
There is also FREE admission to the museum the first Tuesday of each month (except July and August) plus free admission every Tuesday in September.
