The Santa Monica Pier reopened today, but it’s a little different than you may recall. It’s now got a strict, limited capacity and you won’t be able to go on any rides.

The pier is now open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to a release. There’s now only one entrance and exit point at 1641 Ocean Front Walk (Beach Level). The entrance will be monitored to limit the number of people on the pier at a time. If the pier is at capacity, you can wait in a socially distanced line. You must wear your face covering during your visit.

All of Pacific Park’s rides and attractions will be closed, but some shops and restaurants may be open. If you’re hoping to eat or shop at a favorite spot, call ahead to see what their hours, rules, and offerings are.

Also, note that the beach parking lot is closed. More info here
