Immerse yourself in dark tales focused on murder, mayhem, femme fatales, hard-boiled detectives and moral ambiguity during Noir City: Hollywood – The 19th Annual Film Noir Festival. This ten-day film festival takes place at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood from March 24 to April 2.

Each program will be introduced by one of two renowned Film Noir experts: Eddie Muller, known as “the Czar of Noir” and host of TCM’s weekly Noir Alley series, or author Alan K. Rode of the Film Noir Foundation.

Enjoy dark classics like The Big Heat, This Gun for Hire and Ministry of Fear and lesser-known gems like Wicked Woman, Escape in the Fog and I Was a Shoplifter.

As was typical during the Film Noir era, each program is a double bill featuring one high-budget “A” picture paired with a lower-budget “B” movie.

Each double feature is $12 and begins at 7:30 p.m. Check the link below for ticketing and other info.
