The 2018 California Poppy Festival in Lancaster April 21-22

Spring has sprung and that means the California Poppy Festival is returning to Lancaster for another year of blossoming flowers!
Taking place April 21-22 at Sergeant Steve Owen Memorial Park, the event features hundreds of poppy-related exhibits, performances and various activities. With over 55 acres dedicated to the festival, there is plenty of space to walk through the poppy fields, explore the Adventure Zone (featuring trampolines, a petting zoo and more), visit the Farmers Market and learn at the interactive Healthy Living Pavilion. Multiple entertainment stages throughout the venue will feature live music, dance performances and educational shows. Click here for additional festival activities information.
Tickets are available online at the following prices:
- Adults (13-61): $10
- Children (6-12): $5
- Children (5 & Under): Free
- Seniors (62+): $5
Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. Free parking is available across the street from the park with trams providing transportation between the parking lots and festival entrance.
And don’t forget, this festival does take place in the desert, so bring plenty of water and stay hydrated!
