Cherry Blossom Festival at South Coast Botanic Garden

The Cherry Blossom Festival comes to the South Coast Botanic Garden in in Palos Verdes Peninsula March 3 for a lovely afternoon featuring hula and ukulele performances, a gorgeous setting and much more in honor of the Japanese American culture.
Stroll through the gardens for a “hanami” (a.k.a. cherry blossom viewing), then picnic on the Amphitheater Lawn. Experience the Japanese culture through sight, taste and sound. There will be picnic bento (lunch) boxes by Okamoto Kitchen for sale, along with Shake Ramen, and live performances throughout the afternoon. TAIKOPROJECT, Shin Kawasaki, and Hula Halau ‘O Hoanui are a few of the live acts performing during this wonderful afternoon.
Tickets are available now. General Admission is $9, seniors and students are $6, and children are $4.
