If one of your New Year’s resolutions was to be more adventurous, we’ve got the event for you: savor a five-course dinner where each dish features a bug or insect during EatBugEvents dinner in Culver City on Thursday, January 18.

The dinner is hosted by Aly Moore, who studied food policy at Yale and has been featured in National Geographic and Food & Wine. You’ll be served an intriguing array of dishes, including Termite Tomato Caprese and Grasshopper Egg Soufflé.

A delicacy among the cognoscenti of Mexico City, insects are highly nutritious, use up little water and energy while being raised, and have been called a “promising source of protein” by Time magazine.

Enjoy five courses and wine for $45 per person. You can RSVP here.
