Food Fare 2017 unites more than 100 of Los Angeles’ best eateries, caterers, chefs and libation purveyors for a foodie extravaganza that is also Planned Parenthood Los Angeles’ biggest fundraising event of the year.
Taking place at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar, PPLA’s Food Fare has been going strong since 1979, when it began as a Julia Child food demonstration. It’s since become an elaborate food festival offering amazing gourmet edibles from an assortment of epicurean categories, including fusion, comfort food, desserts and more.
Among the eateries involved are Mozza Restaurant Group, The Butcher’s Daughter, Lucques, An Catering by Crustacean, Angelini Osteria, Mexikosher, Petty Cash Taqueria, Chichen Itza Restaurant, and many, many more.
The day features two sessions: the first goes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., while the evening session begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m. This gastronomic celebration also includes a Wine Silent Auction, a Raffle for Choice, and a Dream Experiences Auction.
Best of all, proceeds will greatly benefit healthcare via Planned Parenthood Los Angeles — in fact, the 2016 Food Fare raised more than $920,000 for PPLA!
