The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival returns to Village Green Park starting on May 27 for a ‘berry’ fun four-day event full of rides, parades, game booths, celebrities, music and, of course, plenty of strawberry themed treats.
Festival tradition is to get things started on opening night up with the cutting and serving of the world’s largest strawberry shortcake, which is free to the public (while it lasts!).
Then on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend comes the the Strawberry Parade which annually features floats, bands, equestrians, and even costumed characters (like Snoopy) to entertain the little ones.
The scheduled times for the festival are:
- Friday, May 27 from 1:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Saturday, May 28 from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Sunday, May 29 from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Monday, May 30 from 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Admission to the festival is free, but unlimited rides can be purchased for $25 (on Friday) and $30 (on Saturday-Monday).
The complete schedule of events for the Strawberry Festival is still being finalized as of April 8, but check back on the official website linked below as the event approaches for more information.
