Mid City Arts and Music Festival: Warren G, Jazz, Food Trucks & More
May 12, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 7:00 pmFree
The Mid City Arts and Music Festival is back! This second annual edition, on Saturday May 12, will take place adjacent to the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center, on West Washington Boulevard between Rimpau and Vineyard Avenue.
You want music? They’ve got music! Warren G will perform with the G Funk All Stars. You can also listen to the Delicious Vinyl Island Sound System, jazz from Fernando Pullum Community Art Center Jazz Youth Band, Boogaloo Assassins and more.
This FREE event will also feature live art, various vendors, lots of food trucks, face painting for kids and entertainment.
Food trucks on hand will include Coolhaus, Delicious Pizza, Epic Taco, Dulce Europa Shaved Ice, Thai-Mex Cocina, The Green Olive, All American Softy, So Cal Caribbean, Main Squeeze Lemonade, and Billionaire Burgers.
As Washington Boulevard will be blocked off for the festival, bus line 35 will be rerouted. If you are taking line 35 to the event, it’s suggested that you disembark at La Brea.
Come celebrate this neighborhood, its diversity, and the other elements that make L.A. and Mid-City such a unique place!
