On June 2, make merry at the Pasadena Museum of Art with a special extended Free First Friday. Coinciding with the museum’s 15th birthday, the festivities will include six different talks spotlighting artists like Kenny Scharf, tasty baked goods, wine and beer, music from the Astral Plane DJ team, Red Hen Press book readings and music performances by Tim Reid.

Your visit will begin at the admission desk, where you’ll get a free Milk Jar Cookie. Feel free to add to the museum’s 15th birthday mural!

The spotlight talk schedule is as follow:

12:00 p.m. – The Golden Twenties: Portrait and Figure Paintings by Joseph Kleitsch in the Main Gallery
1:00 p.m. – Interstitial in the Main Gallery
2:00 p.m. – Gustave Baumann in California in the South Gallery
3:00 p.m. – PMCA’s building
4:00 p.m. – Kenny Scharf’s Kosmic Krylon Garage (meet by the image of the bomb in the back of the garage)
5:00 p.m. – Cultivating Pasadena in the Founders Gallery

Then, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., make your way to the third-floor terrace for an evening reception! There will be music, complimentary refreshments from Milk Jar Cookies and Sweet Stix Bakery, and drinks provided by Class Box Wine and Lagunitas Brewing Company.
