The evening honors the Pacoima native’s impact on American music and bicultural identity through live music, storytelling, and archival visuals, connecting his 1950s sound to contemporary culture. The line-up features performances from Shannon Shaw, Joey Quiñones, Bryan Ponce, Denise Carlos and Hector Flores, Angie Monroy, Irene Diaz, and Jose Varela. Free to attend.
