Awesome news on the fried chicken front!

Nashville hot chicken food truck Howlin’ Ray’s is going brick and mortar on November 17, taking over littlefork’s corner location in Hollywood.

The hot chicken truck was one of the best mobile eats on the streets this year, the location is sure to heat things up and draw crowds to the already busy area of the Cahuenga Corridor, where a concentration of bars and clubs reside.

Expect a Nashville picnic-style feel with a quick service format. Hopefully that will help keep the prices within the range of the previous food truck.

Now armed with a full kitchen there will be some new additions to the menu as well and Barman Brian Butler is creating a whiskey-heavy drink program with some much needed beers to go with the spicy fried chicken.

Chef Johnny Zone and his wife Amanda Chapman are partnering with David Reiss on the project with plans of expanding the hot chicken/bar concept into the Westside some time in the near future.

The brick and mortar Howln’ Rays will be located at 1600 Wilcox Ave Los Angeles, CA 90028.
