So There’s a Massive LEGOs Convention Happening This Weekend in Pasadena

May 14, 2015 by Amatullah Guyot

Everyone loves LEGOs, right? They’re big, they’re small, they come in a variety of shapes and colors that make for endless possibilities. They also inspire enough passion for enthusiasts to create entire conventions just to focus on the art of building with the tiny blocks.

Case in point, the Bricks LA Convention coming this weekend to the Pasadena Convention Center.

This two-day event will feature 6,000 square-feet of custom made block models on display for you to admire,  plus vendors selling new, used and vintage LEGO sets, and a free build area just for kids.

And if you’re looking to show off your building chops, registered attendees can face off against one another in build competitions to win free sets (and more importantly, bragging rights).

[NOTE: Looks like registration for build competitions may have ended, but you can still watch]
