From August 14-16 Echo Park will become a total madhouse for the 5th annual Echo Park Rising music festival featuring multiple stages and activities all weekend long spread over Sunset Blvd, Glendale Blvd, Alvarado Avenue and Echo Park Avenue.

Best part? All, 100% FREE performances by Superhumanoids, Dengue Fever, Hanni El Khatib, Swimm, Olin & The Moon, Blank Tapes, and plenty more (see lineup below).
According to the official site, here’s what the three-day schedule looks like at a glance:
Friday: The Main Stage off of Liberty Street (behind Taix) starts at 3pm and has a 10pm curfew; additional events throughout the neighborhood will go later.
Saturday: The Main Stage off of Liberty Street (behind Taix) starts at noon with a 10pm curfew; additional events throughout the neighborhood will go later.
Sunday: NO Main Stage; activities start noon – 10pm.
