If you’ve been using our Metro guides to power your free summer to-dos in Los Angeles, then we have some great news. We’re tipping off July with our biggest list yet! That means more concerts, more festivals, more workshops, more art exhibits… all admission free. And most (though not quite all) are accessible by Metro bus and rail service.

Plus, catch this: Starting in July, Metro has rolled out a new, simpler fare structure. With a valid TAP card, you won’t pay more than $5 a day or $18 in a seven-day period, no matter how many rides you take. Five bucks for a full day of getting around to free events, and not having to pay for gas or parking? Sounds like a deal to us.

Now, as for those to-dos… let’s have a look at what’s in store for the next 40 days.
