After more than one year (and many millions of dollars) spent on an complete overhaul, The Petersen Automotive Museum is now in the stretch run on their grand reopening scheduled for December.
Want to be the first to see what’s new?
A special preview day will be held on December 6, 2015 featuring penthouse access with open bar, private guided tours of the museum, giveaways every hour (including Beats by Dre, Xbox one, Forza 6, and more), plus food on hand for all guests and KCRW’s Jason Bentley on hand to DJ the event.
The newly redesigned museum has added 25 new galleries encompassing over 100,000 sq ft of space.
Some of the key highlights of the preview day (in addition to the food, drink, and tours) include brand new racing simulators and consoles, plus a ‘Mechanical Institute iPad’ for kids where kids can custom build their own car and see their creations come to life step-by-step through augmented reality tech.
Welcome to the 21st century Petersen!
Tickets to the preview event are $200 and all attendees will receive a complimentary gift bag that includes unique gifts from museum partners and a specialty, commemorative founding gift from the Petersen that will only be obtainable on the preview day.
