Today, Sanrio announced a two- year partnership with San Gabriel Valley-based Energy Bistro & Karaoke located in Hacienda Heights. Starting December 13, 2017, Angelenos can belt out guilty-pleasure tunes in the comfort of their very own Sanrio-themed rooms that include private spaces dedicated to Gudetama, Aggretsuko, and Hello Kitty.

The room rates (reservations open on December 13) break down as follows:
- Hello Kitty (Starry Room): $5 per person, minimum 18 people, 2 hr required
- Aggretsuko: $5 per person, minimum 12 people, 2 hr required
- Gudetama: $5 per person, minimum 6 people, 2 hr required
- Hello Kitty (Classic Room): $5 per person, minimum 6 people, 2 hr required
The super kawaii menu of Sanrio branded food and dessert items will be available for purchase at the venue’s bistro and non-themed rooms will also host the Sanrio food promotions. Energy Bistro & Karaoke will also sell limited-edition co-branded merchandise during the course of the partnership.
Food highlights include the following:
Gudetama Lazy Waffle Sandwich ($19) – Open-faced toasted waffle, honey ham, sunny-side egg, lettuce, tomato, maple syrup sweet potato tots with melted cheese.
Aggretsuko Mini Rage Burger ($19)– Brioche, angus beef, shredded lettuce, tomato, pickles, melted American cheese thousand island, ketchup & mayo served with garlic fries & pickles.
Hello Kitty & Mimmy Waffle & Ice Cream ($9) – Mini Belgian waffles seasonal fruits vanilla ice cream or Matcha ice cream whipped cream & chocolate sauce
Keep in mind there are only a handful of themed rooms so if you’re interested in booking one I suggest you do it soon. Guests can book their karaoke reservations online through the company’s website at www.energykaraokeus.com.
If Hacienda Heights seems a bit too far for your liking, Sanrio and Energy Bistro & Karaoke plan to bring their Sanrio-themed karaoke rooms to a Alhambra location in early 2018.
