There’s a Massive (and FREE) Street Fair in Sherman Oaks on October 18

Looking for some free fun in the valley this October?

Head over to Sherman Oaks on the third Sunday of the month for a massive (and free) public spectacle that’s great for the whole family.

The 25th Annual Sherman Oaks Street Fair is (according to the organizers) the largest event in the entire San Fernando Valley and this year it’s scheduled for Sunday, October 18 from 10:00am – 6:00pm.

The all-day fair will take place on Ventura Blvd. over a nine block stretch from Van Nuys Blvd. to Kester Blvd., and with free admission, the fair is expected to garner some 100,000 (100,000!) attendees.

So what can you expect (besides throngs of people)?

Street fair highlights including a an expected turnout of over 200 vendors and displays, food courts, a beer, wine, and cocktail garden, classic cars, antique fire trucks from the LAFD Historical Society, carnival rides, a Kids Zone, raffle prizes, and more!

The Sherman Oaks Street Fair will take place on Ventura Boulevard between Van Nuys Blvd and Kester Avenue. You can check out this map of fair zones to give you a sense of the scope and placement of specific vendors.
