Casa Vega in the valley just rolled out a Rehab Margarita specialty priced at $6. Plus, this weekend The Pasadena Festival of Tea (March 26) comes to the beautiful Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden for a day of education and sampling.

Golden Road’s 329 Day Carnival in Atwater Village

The 329 Day Carnival comes to Golden Road Brewery in Atwater Village on March 29 for their second annual celebration of California’s sunny weather –on average, we enjoy 329 days of sunshine per year. 329 Lager brewed on 3/29 and pints of 329 will sell for just $3.29. There will also be awesome fair food, games, a photo booth, live music, face painting, specialty beer and yes, balloon animals. Entry is free!

Pasadena Festival of Tea at Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden

Learn about tea from the experts and sample from local tea vendors during the Pasadena Festival of Tea. The first of what’s to be a monthly event will take place this Sunday, March 26 at Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden. Tea presentations will be given in the main house and a limited number of visitors can participate in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony in the garden’s Japanese Niko-an teahouse. Reservations are required and can be made on the garden’s website.

Chamber Music Nights With Wine Tasting at Walt Disney Concert Hall

The Chamber Music Nights series at Walt Disney Concert Hall (March 28) is the perfect evening. Guests will have a chance to taste delicious wines, explore the iconic Frank Gehry architecture and indulge in some world-class chamber music.

TOMATOMANIA! at Descanso Gardens

Tomato fans are invited to Descanso Gardens on March 26 for TOMATOMANIA! From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., guests can visit the gardens for workshops, to buy plants, and to take guided tours focused on tomatoes.

So Long, Hi now open

David Tewasart of Sticky Rice fame and Bryan Sharafkhah-Sharp of White Guy Pad Thai have joined forces bringing a taste of Thai street food to DTLA through So Long, Hi. The menu is comprised of Thai bar food and traditional comfort food. You can find items like Thai Jerky, Green Curry with Deep Fried Roti, Pad Thai and even Suea Rong Hai a.k.a. Crying Tiger on the 30 item menu. So Long, Hi is open daily, and has already launched a “Dirt Cheap Happy Hour” that’s available on weekdays. The Spirit Guild Distillery Tour & Tasting in Downtown L.A.

On Friday, March 31. the Spirit Guild Distillery Tour and Tasting will educate attendees on how fruit and juice from California farms become bottles of gin, vodka, and other spirits. This hour-long, hands-on event includes a tour of the working craft distillery where juicing, fermentation, distillation, and more take place. By the end of the tour, you’ll be enjoying tastes of The Spirit Guild’s finished products in the distillery’s tasting room. Tickets are just $10.

Casa Vega rolls out a $6 Margarita

Famed Mexican restaurant Casa Vega celebrates spring with the signature Rehab Margarita specialty priced at $6. Made with 1800 Tequila, coconut water, pineapple juice, fresh lime juice, and agave the special is available from March 20 to April 30.

Miles Thompson x Kevin Meehan Kaliboration 2.0 Dinner

Michael’s chef Miles Thompson and Kali’s Kevin Meehan are back with a second Kaliboration dinner at Kali on Monday April 3. Guests will enjoy a 5-course dinner plus amuse featuring signatures from both restaurant menus, as well as new items conceptualized for the evening. Highlights include Dungeness Crab Chawanmushi, Duck Egg “in soil” and a Flannery Beef Ribeye with bone marrow croquette. Tickets cost $70 and an additional $30 for wine pairing. Celebrate National Paella Day at A Basq Kitchen

In honor of National Paella Day on March 27, A Basq Kitchen in Redondo Beach will be celebrating with a full week of paella specials. From traditional Paella Mariscos (seafood) to Pork Belly Pork get a taste of the different varieties while enjoying the waterfront view and some Basq wine.
