For the second year in a row, We Like L.A. and L.A. Metro have teamed up to give you the number one resource for a summer of free live music around Los Angeles. We’ve scouted the calendars of L.A.’s best annual series and most iconic venues to bring you a simple (but super useful) schedule of free music events and DJ-led dance parties coming up from now through September.

So what are we talking about here? How about KCRW Summer Nights? How about Off the 405 at the Getty or Grand Performances at California Plaza or Latin Sounds at LAMCA. Options abound, and that includes how you want to arrive.

As you peruse the concert list, keep in mind if you want to avoid traffic congestion and parking costs ($20+ at some locations), then you’ll have the option to get there by Metro in most cases, and we’ve provided handy directions on lines/stops where applicable.

Sound good? Now let’s circle a few dates!
