KCRW Summer Nights in Chinatown-> KCRW’s signature summer series is back in Chinatown this Saturday with an evening affair featuring DJ sets by Travis Holcombe and Jason Bentley. Free to attend. Get more info here.

Roller Jam at FIGat7th -> This Friday to Sunday, a three-day dance party and pop-up rollerskating rink hits DTLA’s FIGat7th shopping plaza. Free admission tickets gets you access to the themed dance nights with music by Beat Junkie Institute of Sound and a beer garden curated by Crowns & Hops. If you want to skate, rentals are $12 per person. More info here.

Las Montañas at King Gillette Ranch -> This Saturday, Park Service rangers from Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area (SMMNRA) will host Las Montañas, a family-friendly festival celebrating the start of Latino Conservation Week. Guests can expect bilingual guided hikes, workshops, crafts, and special food vendors. Runs 10 a.m. to. 2 p.m. at the Santa Monica Mountains Visitor Center at King Gillette Ranch. Free to attend.   • The free Levitt Pavilion Concerts series hosts a lineup of Peanut Butter Wolf, Dj Nu-Mark, Inka One, Ben Diggin, and Dj Analog.
  • Grand Performances free concert series will feature a World Stage Night.
  • Long Beach Opera takes over the Art Theatre on 4th street for a two-day festival featuring film screenings, live performances, original scores, music videos, special shorts, and more.
  • This Saturday, the City of Inglewood hosts a family-friendly screening of Luca on south Lawn at Inglewood City Hall
  • The Getty 25 community festival series continues this weekend with a pop-up in the San Gabriel Valley.
  • Movies on the Roof screens Iron Man at Westfield Fashion Square. Tickets are just $5 and 100% of the proceeds benefit Hope Of The Valley.
  • The South Bay Greek Festival is a three-day (Friday to Sunday) affair at St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church in Redondo Beach offering ample servings of Greek food (spanakopita, lamb chops, baklava), dancing, and fun
