Adopt + Shop at The Bloc – M FA > To celebrate National Pet Month, The Bloc is hosting a National Pet Month, Adopt + Shop event this Sunday featuring an array of pup-friendly activities. Expect dog adoptions offered in partnership with California Doodle Rescue, a special Dodgers ticket giveaway, a live DJ with the 102.7 KIIS FM street team, a pop-up Agility Course from the Easy Day K9 Academy, and more. CicLAmini – Pico Union – FA > CicLAvia’s next open streets event will be a scaled down version called “CicLAmini” featuring a modest 1.4 mile course along Pico Blvd, bookended by hubs at Pico/Normandie and Pico/Union. Expect the usual assortment of fun activations along the way with plenty of space to walk/skate/pedal to your heart’s content. It all takes place this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. More info here.
Sketching with L.A.: Creatures of the Garden – FA > Love to draw? Spend your Sunday by meeting up with fellow artists and drawing enthusiasts, and maybe make a few new friends, at the latest edition of Sketching with L.A. Beverly Hills Art Show – FA > Over 235 artists are expected to participate in the spring edition of the Beverly Hills Art Show. Hosted this Saturday and Sunday at Beverly Gardens Park, the two-day event is free to attend and includes a wine and beer garden, demonstrating artists, children’s activities, gourmet food trucks and several community exhibits.
