10 Things To Do in L.A. For Under $10 This Weekend [7-24-15 to 7-26-15]

As you probably already know we do a twice weekly listing of our favorite to-dos and happenings around Los Angeles (pushed out Monday AM and Thursday AM).

However, it occurs to me that sometimes event-seekers just want stuff that’s down-and-dirty, cheap-and-easy. With that in mind, here are 10 quick ideas for this weekend each costing less than $10 that might be good to keep on your radar.

2. [$9.00 including fees] Eat|See|Hear presents Love Actually in Santa Monica on Saturday.*

3.  [$7.00-$10.00The 8th Annual Druid Underground Film Festival on Saturday at 9:00pmis at HM157. $7 tickets if purchased in advance, $10 at the door.

4. [$6.00 including fees] This Sunday check out Instant Films, 8 short films all produced in just 48 Hours.*

5. [FREE]  Round Up at L.A. Live is a country-themed street fest at L.A. Live, to be held this Friday night.

6. [FREE] The 9th Annual Exhibition: The Outstanding Art of Television Costume Design is displaying about 100 costumes created by costume designers, supervisors, and this year’s Emmy Nominees at the FIDM Museum in DTLA (just opened this week).

7. [FREE]  The Wizards Market Crafts Faire at Whimsic Alley will be held in the Great Hall from 10:00am to 6:00pm Saturday and Sunday.

8. [FREE] A free storytelling night at The Last Bookstore in DTLA starting on Friday at 8:00pm.

9. [FREE] Check Out Christian Marclay: The Clock for FREE This Weekend at LACMA (a 24-hour showing starting Saturday at 10:00am).

10. [FREE] The U.S. Open of Surfing starts this Saturday down in Huntington Beach.
