Gustavo Dudamel joined the Los Angeles Philharmonic to push boundaries-in his interpretations of timeless music, his pursuit of new ideas, and his exploration of the role of an orchestra in the life of a city. Seventeen years later, he’s still finding new things to explore and new horizons to surpass. The 2025/26 Gracias Gustavo season starts now! Catch Gustavo Dudamel on the podium this fall as the LA Phil celebrate his final season as Music & Artistic Director at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Dudamel will conduct the orchestra in 14 programs during his last season, featuring a range of works including multiple standout performances slated for October.
The Rite of Spring (Oct. 2-5) features Stravinsky’s spellbinding ballets and John Adams’ Frenzy. Next up, Dudamel conducts “Mahler’s “Resurrection” (Oct. 9-12), a grand statement on life and death realized by a massive ensemble of more than 200 musicians. And of course you won’t want to miss the LA Phil Gala: Gustavo’s Fiesta (Oct. 14), which showcases a live “playlist” of the conductor’s favorite symphonic finales.
