Here’s an idea for you:

Thanks to the folks over at Target, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art will offer free admission starting at 11:00am for any and all visitors to celebrate President’s Day on Monday.

In addition to the waived admission fee, LACMA’s free day will feature bilingual tours of the galleries, family sketching activities, and live music by the western swing band The Lucky Stars, who will perform at both 12:30pm and at 2:45pm.

Guests should note that the free entry excludes admission to specially ticketed exhibitions. Also, because of high demand, tickets to the Boone Children’s Gallery on Monday will be timed and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

And remember, if you can’t make it out on Monday here’s plenty of other free museum days around Los Angeles to take advantage of during the month of February.
