This is What a Movie Screening on a Hollywood Rooftop Looks Like

So have you heard about that new rooftop movie series coming to Los Angeles this month?

It’s called Rooftop Film Club and it starts on August 26 (that’s tonight!) with a screening of The Big Lebowksi and continues on for a total of 16 separate dates spread out over nearly four weeks, concluding on September 19.

Set atop the roof of the Montalban Theater smack dab in the middle of Hollywood, there are few locations that we could imagine more idyllic for an outdoor movie series than this.

The setup when you arrive is pretty striking. Spacious, but intimate.
