1. Prohibition NYE

Ring in 2016 in style at Prohibition NYE’s fourth annual Roaring Twenties celebration inside L.A. landmark, Union Station! Guests will enjoy an evening of tray passed oysters, live jazz music, DJs, burlesque dancers, and a premium open bar, featuring event sponsors Patron, Core Water and El Segundo Brewing. 2. Medieval Times New Year’s Eve Extravaganza

Ring in the new year Medieval style. The evening begins with the famed Medieval Times show compete with jousting, swordsmanship, thrilling hand-to-hand combat and displays of extraordinary horsemanship. Lords and Ladies will be treated to pre-show hors d’oeuvres and can explore the morbid Museum of Torture upon arrival. At show time, guest will feast on a four-course banquet as they cheer for their favorite knight. 3. Rocky Horror Parody New Year’s Eve Celebration

Performers from television, film and Broadway will take the stage at The Rockwell for a Rocky Horror NYE. Dine on a special New Year’s dinner and do the “Time Warp” with Brad, Janet and mad scientist Dr. Frank N. Furter as they electrify the crowd with parody songs from the cult musical. 5. Grand Park + The Music Center’s N.Y.E.L.A.

Head to downtown Los Angeles for the the third annual Grand Park + The Music Center’s N.Y.E.L.A. The FREE event takes over a total of 90 acres across Grand Park, The Music Center Plaza, and adjacent city streets in DTLA. Partygoers will be treated to live musical performances, art installations, 3D animated projections off DTLA iconic buildings and much more. Organizers are expecting some 50,000 people to attend.

6. NYE Rapture

Lights & Music presents a ’80s and ’90s NYE dance party extravaganza at The Satellite in Silver Lake. Get down to music inspired by Prince, the Spice Girls, Pet Shop Boys, Madonna, Salt-n-Peppa, Blondie, Talking Heads, Janet Jackson, David Bowie, the Cure, George Michael, Depeche Mode and more. $15 at the door.

7. L.A. Zoo Lights NYE

Celebrate the new year at the L.A. Zoo the NYE special package will grant you express admission to L.A. Zoo Lights, a dinner buffet with soft drinks and dessert, a carousel ride, crafts, DJ dance party, and a live broadcast of the Times Square ball drop with champagne to toast. 8. Cleopatra’s New Year’s Eve Ball

Celebrate New Year’s Eve in the world famous Grauman’s Egyptian Theatre. The event will take over both the courtyard and themed indoor areas. Hollywood’s best DJs will be spinning Top 40, hip-hop, house, mash-ups and more. 9. New Year’s Eve Twenty Sixteen | Black Tie Masquerade Ball

Viceroy Santa Monica is hosting its annual New Year’s Eve party: The Black Tie Masquerade Ball. Happening poolside with the main tent spinning music by KCRW DJs Jason Bentley and Raul Campos, guests will beable to dance the night away, toast on free flowing champagne and an open bar. Celebrate under a fireworks-filled sky aboard the legendary Queen Mary. 11. Noon Year’s Eve At Kidspace Children’s Museum

Kid’s usually don’t make it to midnight for the count down on NYE so the folks over at Kidspace in Pasadena is celebrating the new year a bit early. Bring your little ones to see the ginormous balloon drop at “noon years”, toast cups of sparkling cider, and create your own noisemakers to ring in 2016. There will be plenty of dancing with music by The Boo Hoo Crew starting at 11:30am and boogie the noon away!

12. Rhondapolis NYE Cancelled on 12/24/2015 due to unforeseen issues

A Club Called Rhonda is taking over The Standard in DTLA for New Year’s Eve. Known for extreme fashion this NYE party is going all out, from the lobby to the rooftop, the entire Standard hotel will be converted into “Rhondapolis.”

13. NYE 2016 Black & White Masquerade Party

Ring in the New Year at Hotel Shangri-La in Santa Monica durning their annual rooftop celebration. Guest get greeted with a glass of Champagne upon arrival, dance to sounds by Jay Strongman, nosh on complimentary bites and join in on the Champagne toast at midnight for $65 a person.

14. Downtown Long Beach New Year’s Eve Block Party

The festival will take place in the heart of Downtown. Headlining this year will be Saint Motel, ZZ Ward, Houndmouth, and Vintage Trouble over three-stages in a span of three-blocks. Pre-sale tickets are available for $30 online. Tickets will be available at the gate on the day of the event for $40.

15. Roaring 20s New Year’s Bash At Baltaire

Baltaire is throwing a glamorous Roaring 20s New Year’s Eve bash. Two dinner seatings will be available, featuring a five-course, prix-fixe menu from Executive Chef Travis Strickland. The first seating ($175 per person) starts from 5:30pm -6:30pm with a two hour dining window. The second seating ($250 per person) starting from 9:00pm – 9:45pm, including a welcome glass of Champagne, party favors and the table for the remainder of the night. Baltaire will continue the party with rolling Martini and caviar carts, while guests enjoy performances by burlesque dance group Miss May & April Showers, a live band with jazz vocalist Gina Saputo from 6:00pm – 10:00pm, and a DJ spinning contemporary beats from 10:00pm – 2:00am. Party-goers seeking a more casual experience can also reserve a couch in the Bar and Lounge, with access to bottle service and an à la carte menu. Guests are strongly encouraged to dress in their favorite 20s-inspired attire.

Tom Bergin’s will be throwing a 1930s-themed bash celebrating both the new year and the Irish pub’s original opening year in 1936. 18. New Year’s Eve Party At The Pub At Golden Road Brewing

The family-friendly Pub has crafted a special four-course menu ($50) that includes: Skirt Steak Bruschetta, Fuyu Persimmon Salad and Oven Roasted Chicken. The meal will be paired with a pour of their seasonal brandy-aged Back Home Gingerbread Stout. Folks can also opt to dine from the regular menu. Guest can dine on a four course meal prepared by Día de Campo in Hermosa Beach. For $55 a person the pre fixe meal includes: Grilled Romaine salad, Chocolate Duck Quesadillas, Plancha Pork Belly and Churros with spiced chocolate sauce. 20. Fourth Annual Texas Toast NYE Bash At Outpost

Trade in your stilettos for some cowboy boots and head on over to Hollywood sports bar, Outpost for their fourth annual Texas Toast party. Chaya in Venice will host an elegant Black Tie Affair with two seating times for dinner, a special omakase menu at the sushi bar, and a martini tasting bar menu will be available on this special night. For dinner, first seating is 5:00pm – 7:30pm, includes a 3-Course Chef’s Menu for $85 a person, with limited a la carte menu available. Second seating will start at 8:00pm till close and will feature a Chef’s Grand Tasting Menu for $150 a person with party favors and a champagne toast. 24. NYE At BOA Steakhouse

BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood will offer a four-course prix-fixe menu including signature dishes served alongside festive new items including: Seared Scallops with smashed cauliflower, gala apples, and pink peppercorn-cider gastrique, Lobster and White Asparagus Panzanella, Butternut Squash and Black Truffle Raviolo and Bone Marrow Crusted Petit Filet Mignon.
