Takeout & Delivery Guide: The Best of Central Los Angeles

Found Oyster

Whether it’s an award-winning Cuban sandwich, meticulously crafted bento boxes, or super spicy Thai food, Los Angeles brims with an array of restaurants ready to satisfy your latest cravings—and LOTS of places to grab your food to-go or have it delivered to your door. In this guide, we focus on Central Los Angeles, which includes Downtown, Hollywood, Koreatown, Silver Lake, Beverly Grove, Westlake, and more.

A note on categorization: L.A.’s legendary sprawl can be hard to wrap your head around. Consider the L.A. Times’ Mapping L.A. project, which breaks the county down into 158 cities and incorporated places, plus 114 neighborhoods within Los Angeles city limits. To make our takeout and delivery series more digestible, we’re looking to the Times’s work as a lodestar in how we bundle regions together.
