This week we celebrate National Fry Day on Thursday, National Ice Cream Day on Sunday, and help you discover new burgers to start your morning with.

Santa Monica’s Frozen Fruit Co turns one this year and to celebrate the anniversary as well as National Ice Cream Day they’ll be giving away free cups of their signature soft serve on Sunday July 16. Soft serve is made entirely of fruit and natural fruit sugars so you won’t feel guilty eating it! Grab a free cup between 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Outstanding Breakfast Burgers To Try This Week

The Standing Room Breakfast Burger is made with half a pound of Angus beef topped with strips of bacon, a fried egg, homemade potato slices, habanero coleslaw, American cheese, cheddar cheese, and togarashi spice. A hearty meal to start your day!

Doma Kitchen just rolled out a major breakfast sandwich featuring locally crafted chicken sausage on top of an egg omelet, crisp thick-cut bacon, American cheese, arugula, heirloom tomato, garlic aioli sandwich between a brioche bun and served with a side of seasonal fruit.

Barky Brunch Launches at Ray & Stark’s Bar

Ray’s & Stark Bar just launched a new menu for mans best friend called Barky Brunch. Available every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the patio, pups can nosh on homemade dog dishes like dog bone shaped pizza crust, chicken liver and brown rice cookie and steamed chicken breast and broccoli bowl.

Cocktail Party with Jet Tila

The Tuck Room Tavern will host a cocktail party with Jet Tila celebrating his new cookbook “101 Asian Dishes You Need to Cook Before You Die” on Tuesday, July 18. Guests will dine on Jet Tila’s signature dishes, sip on Champagne, Chang Beer and cocktails created by Chef Sherry Yard throughout the evening. Each guest will also go home with a signed copy of Chef Jet Tila’s new cookbook. Tickets to the party cost $95 per person and $75 from each ticket will directly benefit Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) Los Angeles.

Summer Movie Nights at Sweet Rose Creamery Studio City returns with Say Anything. All screening are free.

Spend an evening poolside under the stars enjoying dinner, cocktails and a film as Mr. C’s Poolside Cinema returns with a screening of Dirty Dancing. Food offerings include a MrC Club Sandwich with fried egg, Pizza MrC with burrata and Prosciutto crudo di Parma, and MrC Avocado Salsa with toasted pizza crisps. You can also enjoy some caprese-style popcorn, candy, mini bottles of Moët & Chandon Champagne, or, if you prefer beer, Peroni Nastro Azzurro on tap.

dineL.A. returns for summer with 15-days of celebrating Los Angeles restaurant culture from July 14 to 28. Angelenos and visitors alike will have the opportunity to enjoy prix-fixe menus from top resturants all over Los Angeles County. 300+ resturants will be participating and all dineL.A. deals follow the same price plan: $15, $20, or $25 for lunch menus and $29, $39, or $49 for dinners. The Port of Los Angeles Lobster Fest comes to the LA Waterfront in San Pedro from June 14 to 16 for the world’s largest lobster festival featuring Maine Lobsters flown in fresh daily and cooked on the spot. Festival-only admission is $12 for adults, while kids under 12 are admitted free. The festival’s signature meal, a 1.25 lb. whole steamed Maine lobster meal with spiced potatoes, cole slaw, roll and buttery dipping sauce will be available for $25.00, with an option to add another lobster for just $15. Attendees looking for an all-inclusive experience can purchase First Class tickets (available online presale only) for $65. The ticket includes 3-day admission, one double lobster meal with seafood salad, dessert and other special sides, one complimentary beverage, VIP line access, VIP dining area and a collectible poster.

Champagne & Oysters Soirée at Mr. C Guests will enjoy endless pours of Veuve Clicquot Champagne and a feast of West and East Coast oysters and fresh shellfish from the raw bar. But the fun doesn’t stop there, tray-passed seafood hor d’oeuvres, Peroni Nastro Azzurro on draft and DJ spins tunes will have this party going all night long. Tickets are available to purchase online for $99 per person and a VIP booth is available for $1500 which includes: (8) tickets, reserved designated seating, and an exclusive pour of Veuve Clicquot.

Wolfgang Puck’s new CUT Lounge, at the beautiful Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills has launched a new summer guest DJ series hosting live sets every Friday night through August. There is no cover fee, and guests can sample the new summer menu of cocktails and bites that include: Crispy Kataifi Wrapped Tiger Prawns, New York Steak Skewers and Truffled Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

The rooftop of the Ritz-Carlton in Downtown Los Angeles will be taken over by WP24 during Summer Supper + Show Series.  Happening every Friday and Saturday guests can enjoy cuisine from WP24 by Wolfgang Puck while watching a classic film on the 26th floor terrace of the Ritz-Carlton. Guests have two options during the show, order a two-course prix-fixe dinner at WP24 then, move to the rooftop deck to take in a movie from a select reserve seat with cinema snacks for $85 per person or watch the movie while enjoying the house made snacks  for $25. The series kicks off with a screening of Singin’ in the Rain on Friday and Saturday.
