Twin Peaks: The Return at Vidiots – FA > Calling all David Lynch fans. This Wednesday, FANGORIA and streaming service MUBI team up for a one-night-only screening of episode 8 of Twin Peaks: The Return at Vidiots Theater in Eagle Rock. Waning Crescent at Oxy Arts – FA > This Thursday, Oxy Arts marks the the opening of Waning Crescent: a meztli projects group show with an evening of food, music and community. The new exhibition celebrates the journey of meztli projects in supporting Native and Indigenous artists. 11 artists made contributions to the new show. KCRW Summer Nights at Cabrillo Marine Aquarium – FA > On Friday, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium and KCRW are hosting a party with music sets from KCRW DJs and access to the aquarium. Guest will also get to hatch grunion eggs, explore tidepool animals, marvel at life-sized inflatable whales and head to the beach to witness the fascinating grunion run. The Hammer’s Exhibition Opening Celebration – FA TP > The Hammer is staying open late this Friday to celebrate the launch of the new Noah Davis exhibition. Common Space Brewery and LA Ale Works Block Party -> Head to Hawthorne this Friday as Common Space Brewery and LA Ale Works team up for a festive kickoff celebration to LA Beer Week. There will be Live music set at Common Space gets things started kicks off with live music beginning at 6 p.m.. Shakespeare By the Sea – FA > Beginning this Friday, the 28th anniversary season of Shakespeare By the Sea kicks off in June at The Bandshell at Recreation Park in Long Beach with productions of Shakespeares As You Like It and Julius Caesar. Summer of Salsa – M FA > LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes’ Summer of Salsa returns for its second installment of 2025 this Friday. The Echo Park Project headlines the June event, with a free dance lesson kicking things off at 6 p.m., then the main set beginning at 7 p.m. Free to attend. More info here.
Pride Night at The Aquarium of the Pacific – M > In partnership with The LGBTQ Center Long Beach, the Aquarium of the Pacific is celebrating the LGBTQ+ community this Friday evening with an all ages event featuring drag queen storytelling, rainbow themed activities and much more. Outdoor Movies at the Skirball Cultural Center > The Skirball’s annual outdoor movies series returns this June, beginning with a screening of Black Panther this Friday. Guests are invited to come early to view the latest Skirball exhibition Jack Kirby: Heroes and Humanity, which delves into the six-decade career of legendary comic book artist Jack Kirby. Moo’s Craft Barbecue Turns 4 -> Moo’s Craft Barbecue in Lincoln Heights celebrates four smokin’ years with a week of daily specials from June 12–15. The festivities kick off Thursday with Smoked Beef Cheek Tacos, followed by Friday’s lineup of Poc Chuc–style pork steak and handcrafted habanero citrus sausage. On Saturday, Moo’s teams up with Holy Basil for a Thai-meets-Texas BBQ feast featuring Smoked 5-Spice Duck, Paratha Whole Hog, Panang Curry Pork Belly Ends, and Savory Chrysanthemum Greens. Majordōmo Weekday Pre Fixe -> Majordōmo spices up the start of your week with a $65 three-course prix fixe dinner, offered Mondays through Wednesdays in Chinatown.
